The Jonathan Swift Room

We have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our restaurant and private dining room until further notice. During this time, we will be sending out communication on a regular basis, whilst also keeping our guests updated via social media, our websites and newsletters. We look forward to reopening, when we are able, and to welcoming you back to our restaurants.

The Ivy Dawson Street houses a private dining venue with a difference. Hidden away, The Jonathan Swift Room, named after the Dublin-born author, is still very much rooted in the local landscape, featuring a stunning image of Dublin’s horizon c1800. Meanwhile, the ceiling celebrates another of the city’s famous writers, James Joyce.  His famous fictional hero, Leopold Bloom, is pictured alongside a host of multicoloured, exotic flying birds, pairing perfectly with the room’s colourful collection of art.

This sense of artful, careful curation extends to the menus – all exclusively crafted by our Executive Chef and like the room itself, designed with a sophisticated versatility that can welcome private events, wedding parties and corporate receptions, morning noon and night.
